Abstract

The authors have experimentally researched the influence of inadvertent hindrances on multichannel means of investigation, functioning in spectral ranges 0,38…0,75; 3…5; 8…14 microns. To simulate hindrances the researchers used dust smoke clouds from shell ruptures and movement of military vehicles. Experimental researches were conducted on regular samples of military vehicles; as for hindrances the researchers measured the density, the geometrical sizes and existence time. As an influence factor the authors chose the time of target’s visibility loss.

Key words

visibility of the target, multichannel management system, inadvertent hindrance, optical channel, thermal imaging channel.
